OKC will have Le Mans Series Grand Prix race in 2013
FROM STAFF REPORTSOKC Motorsports has entered an agreement with the American Le Mans Series to bring Grand Prix racing to Oklahoma City in 2013.The race will be staged in the Adventure District in northeast Oklahoma City, an area that�includes Remington Park, the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum, ASA Softball Hall of Fame Stadium and the zoo.OKC Motorsports president Mike McAuliffe said the race ?will be the biggest thing to hit that area since Remington Park opened? in 1988.The agreement is for a minimum of three years, with proposed dates of May 17-19 in 2013 for the inaugural race.Read more on NewsOK.com
