Oklahoma scene: Enid Speedway goes out of business
FROM STAFF REPORTSAnother dirt car race track has gone out of business. The Enid News & Eagle reported Wednesday that a promoter has canceled the remainder of scheduled races this season at Enid Speedway.Ed Beckley, a longtime promoter who operates dirt car tracks in Dodge City, Kan., and Liberal, Kan., said small car counts and lagging attendance forced him to pull out of a deal he had with the Garfield County Fair Board.Read more on NewsOK.com
