INDIANAPOLIS (AP) ? IndyCar has suspended Indy Lights team O2 Racing Technology and the individual membership of team owner Mark Olson through the end of 2012.

Tooele ? Miller Motorsports Park dropped two of its highest-profile events from this year?s schedule ? the American Le Mans Series and the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car series.
In their absence, however, MMP officials made a strong and deep-pocketed commitment to the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series, which returns for the second consecutive season this weekend.

West Valley City ? Legendary drag racer Dale Pulde returned to the track this weekend for the first time in eight months.
After nearly losing his battle with a rare lung disease known as Valley Fever, Pulde watched his car and crew compete in the Salt Lake Nitro Jam at Rocky Mountain Raceways.

Danica Patrick took the shot. Why not? She took the Indy 500 lead with 19 laps remaining, and if fuel was becoming a problem, well, no risk, no glory.
Her team took the risk, and lost the glory. She finished 10th on Sunday, 26 seconds behind winner Dan Wheldon.
