Tooele ? The seed for the project was planted on trips with family and friends to a racetrack near Denver, where Larry H. Miller would take breaks from a dizzying work schedule to feed his appetite for fast cars.
The idea took root when Miller eventually decided to build a high-speed playground closer to home.
The dream became reality five years ago, when Miller?s original $5 million budget for a small oval track ballooned to $100 million for construction of a world-class 4.5-mile road course.
