Some couldn't even bear to say goodbye a week after the two-time Indianapolis 500 winner was killed in a fiery crash at Las Vegas.
The 87-minute memorial service was a fitting tribute to Wheldon's life, with former teammates and bosses providing dozens of stories about the roles Wheldon played ? fierce competitor on the track, comedian off of it and loving father and husband.

W.E.ROCK divisional winners are scheduled to compete in four vehicle classes at MMP?s unique off-road facility.
Racing starts at 10 a.m. daily and will end about 4 p.m., officials said.
W.E.ROCK adult tickets cost $15 per day or $25 for the weekend. Tickets for children between the ages of eight and 12 are $5 per day. Children under 8 are admitted free.

Dover, Del. ? Tony Stewart needs a tremendous rally at Dover to keep his perfect Chase season alive.
Stewart?s No. 14 Chevrolet has not performed like the car that romped to victories in the first two races in the Chase for the Sprint Cup championship. He was horrible at practice and that carried over into Saturday?s qualifying, where he turned a lap of 156.760 mph and will start the third Chase race 27 spots behind polesitter Martin Truex Jr.
